BEST PRACTICES IN EXPERT WITNESSING WORKSHOP:
THE BALKAN EXPERIENCE

Dear Colleagues,

Expert witness activity for crime combating, supports the legal system significantly as well as it is capable of running research in national and international level and dedicating time and resources.

This workshop has been planned in order to share experiences in expert witnessing to establish an inter-Balkan academic cooperation in forensic sciences for scientific techniques in crime combating and to discuss the adaptation of the best practices in the discipline.

Within that scope, scientists from different expertise areas of forensic sciences will be invited to Istanbul and a two-day-workshop will be held under the title “Best Practices in Expert Witnessing: Balkan Countries Experience”. The participants will consist of academics and students from the Institutes and Departments of Forensic Medicine.

It is a great pleasure for us to have you participating to our workshop which will be held in Istanbul between 19-20 April 2019 in Alev Ofluoğlu Conference Hall, Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University.
